The American Legion, William J. Rogers Post 153, will host a breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 19. The hot breakfast will consist of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, baked beans, white or wheat toast and the military’s infamous S.O.S., Army coffee and juice, plus an old Beaulieu family recipe for crepes. The cost is $6 for adults, $4 children under 12. There will be a 50/50 with proceeds going to the local Scholarship Fund. The commander will also be on hand with applications for those interested in becoming a member of the American Legion (bring dd214 discharge paper).
