I think it is funny how town and city officials are saying their winter budgets are getting real low.

Here is something to think about: What if, when there is a warm winter so money is left over, instead of putting that money in the general fund, how about leaving it in the roads budget for years like this one?

We all know tough winters are going to happen. After all, this is Maine and we do get snow, sleet and freezing rain.
