SOUTH PARIS – Recent changes in harvesting standards within the shoreland zone will be discussed at a public meeting at 7 p.m. Jan. 16 by the Western Maine Chapter of the Small Woodland Owners Association of Maine.
Keith Kanoti of the Maine Forest Service will speak about recent changes and provide a legislative update on forest-related issues.
The meeting will be held in Room E118 near the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School cafeteria, which is accessible from the rear parking lot of the school. The school is on Route 26.
