HARRISON — Firefighters swiftly extinguished a vehicle fire Wednesday on Old Rich Road.
According to fire Chief Dana Laplante, crews were dispatched to 54 Old Rich Road about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. They found a car fully engulfed in flames.
The owner told firefighters he usually turned the car on every month or so during the winter. When the owner tried it on Wednesday morning, he heard a pop underneath the engine compartment and saw flames under the hood, Laplante said.
The car was parked away from other vehicles and the home. There were no injuries, Laplante said.
