MINOT — Dick and Leah Jarvi of West Minot celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 14 at a surprise party hosted by their daughter, sister-in-law and brother. They were married on Dec. 25, 1963.
In attendance were family members, long-time friends and their granddaughter. It was a traditional celebration with lunch, gifts and photos. A toast was given by one of their dearest long-time friends, William Slattery.
