RANGELEY — Memorial services for Craig “Donut” Raymond, 52, of Lang Township, were held Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Church of the Good Shepherd, on Main Street in Rangeley, with the Rev. Jud Pealer as celebrant.

The prelude was provided by Sue Downes-Borko followed by the playing of Alan Jackson’s song, “Blue Ridge Mountain.”  The Rangeley Fire Department color guard processed in followed by Donut’s son, John presenting the urn. “In the Garden” was the opening hymn followed by the opening prayers.

Ecclesiastes was read by Belinda Mansfield followed by Psalm 23. Barry Libby offered the reading from the Book of Revelation. Sue Borko then sang Diamond Rio’s “One More Day” followed by the reading of Mark 6:1-3. The Rev. Jud offered the sermon followed by the Apostles Creed, the Prayers of the People, and the Peace. “The Old Rugged Cross” was featured as the hymn before the Eucharistic Prayers, Communion and Post Communion Prayer.

Honors and memories were then shared by Rangeley Fire Chief Tim Pellerin, Jean Stewart and Pat Raymond, followed by Toby Keith’s “Cry For Me.” The Rev. Jud then offered the Commendation, Blessing, and Dismissal and closed with “Amazing Grace.”  The fire department color guard and honor guard recessed with the congregation attending a reception and time of fellowship in the Undercroft of the Church hosted by the Family and the Episcopal Church Women. A time of sharing and fellowship was held with memory boards and a memorial video of Donut’s life.  Interment will be in the spring at Evergreen Cemetery in Rangeley. Cremation and memorial services were cared for and provided by the Wiles Remembrance Center, Cremation Service and Funeral Home, 137 Farmington Falls Road, Farmington.
