AUBURN — The Lake Auburn Community Center, at 115 North Auburn Road, will hold their annual Winter-fest trail and community ice-skating event.

The center is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and the Auburn Winter-fest event on Sunday, Jan. 26, will be from 2 to 8 p.m.

All forms of winter trail uses — skiing, snowmobiling, skating rink or just walking — with a warming fire and refreshments will be available. Participants must bring their own equipment.

There is a bottle/can redemption barrel for returnables, which defers operating costs. A very clean porta-potty is located near the barn/parking area and all this is free for the public.

The LACC property is owned by the Lake Auburn Watershed Neighborhood Association, a 501c3 at www.lakeauburn.org and on Facebook: Lake Auburn Community Property. The Association and the LACC promotes recreation, environment and community.
