FALMOUTH (AP) — The owner of a Portland house cleaning service has been charged with stealing prescription drugs from one of her clients.
Police say 45-year-old Kathy Vargas stole medications earlier this month from an elderly Falmouth woman who had hired her to clean her house. Police did not specify what kinds of medications were allegedly taken.
Vargas was arrested Saturday and has made bail.
Police said Vargas has dozens of clients in York and Cumberland counties and are asking them to check their prescription medications to determine if any are missing.
Vargas could not be reached.
