Jay VFW to host dance Jan. 25

JAY — A dance will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at the VFW Hall, 64 Jewel St.

Music will be provided by the Campground Band.

Square, round dance is Feb. 2

WILTON — The Friendship Squares will host a square and round dance from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, at the Cushing School.

The dance will be mainstream/mainstream plus. The caller will be Al Hipkins. Carol Arsenault will be the cuer.

Free Bokwa class on Feb. 5

TURNER — MSAD 52 Adult & Community Education will hold a free Bokwa class at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, at Turner Primary School.

Bokwa is the new fitness craze. It’s different. There is no choreography or counting steps. Draw letters and numbers with your feet while moving with others to music in free-form rhythm. If you can move, you can do it. Bokwa engages all ages in the same class to the same music.
