PORTLAND (AP) — The average price of gasoline has fallen 1.6 cents in Maine in the past week, to $3.48 a gallon.
The gasoline pricing website GasBuddy.com surveys more than 1,200 Maine gasoline outlets.
The average price of gas nationally has not changed in the past week, remaining at $3.27 a gallon.
Prices in Maine are 7.6 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, and 3.7 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.
The national average has decreased 1.6 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 4.4 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
