NORWAY — Trish Logan, owner of Photography by Trish Logan, LLC, 66 Paris St., will have two of her images published by the Professional Photographers of America.

Logan, who competes in the International Print Competition, held annually by the Professional Photographers of America, received notification that her image, “Memories Lost,” a black and white portrait of her late father, will be included in the 2013 Loan Collection Book published by Marathon Press. This prestigious book is released annually to highlight the best photography in the country. This is the second time Logan has been honored for her work and added to the PPA Loan Collection Book. In 2012, she earned a silver medal for her work.

Additionally, her image, “Weathered,” a black and white portrait of Oxford Hills area resident Art Hatch, will be included in the 2013 PPA Showcase Collection Book. The Showcase Collection is a compilation of images that were specifically chosen by national judges to be included for publication based on their professional techniques and merits.

She currently serves on the board of directors for the Maine Professional Photographers Associations and the Professional Photographers of New England. Logan also holds the title of Trustee for the New England Institute of Professional Photography. She is also a member of the Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber’s official photographer at the annual dinner.
