With regard to the story (Sun Journal, Jan. 22), “Sidewalks could be cleared faster with new blower”: Should the Lewiston City Council agree to vote for that new blower attachment for the price tag of $16,000, I am sure they would receive an email from former Mayor Larry Gilbert stating, “That money would be of better use in a welfare program helping poverty-stricken individuals.”
