RANGELEY — Two air shocks valued at an estimated $2,990 were stolen last weekend from a 2014 snowmobile parked at Saddleback Motor Inn on Main Street, police Chief Dennis Leahy said.
The owner from Graniteville, Vt., parked the Arctic Cat ZR 1100 in the parking lot at 6 p.m. Saturday, he said. The owner’s brother went out at 7 a.m. Sunday and discovered both Fox Float-X-Evolve shocks on the front of the machine were missing, he said.
The estimate of value is $1,495 each installed, Leahy said.
The owner did not hear anything in the night that was suspicious, he said.
