1926 – 2014

AUBURN — Pauline T. Faucher, 87, a resident of Montello Heights in Lewiston, died peacefully on Thursday morning, Jan. 30, at Clover Health Care Facility, with her devoted granddaughters by her side.

She was born in Lewiston on July 14, 1926, the daughter of Joseph and Delvina (Guay) Paradis. She grew up in Lewiston and was a graduate of St. Peter’s Catholic School. Following her education, she was employed in the local textile industry. She married the love of her life, Normand Faucher, in July 1949, and together raised their boys.

Pauline’s spirit, personality and love contributed to lifelong friendships which she cherished very deeply throughout her life.

She was a strong, independent woman, who lived an avid social life. She enjoyed traveling with friends and family, shopping, winning at beano and spending quality time with her granddaughters and their families.

Survivors include one son, Roger Faucher, of Georgia; one sister, Aurore Foisy, of Lewiston; two granddaughters, Breckon Anderson and husband, Shaun, of North Yarmouth and Jennifer Adams and husband, William, of Plymouth, Mass.; and four great-grandchildren, Gracyn Anderson and expected Baby Anderson in July, as well as Nicholas and Elizabeth Adams. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, as well as two special nieces, Susan Foisy and Doris Hallee.

It comforts us to know that she is now with her husband, Normand, and her son, Paul, as well as her 12 siblings who predeceased her.

Pauline’s family would like to thank the professional staff at Montello Heights, Clover Manor and Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice for the wonderful care she received during her final days.
