The Orono-Veazie Water District’s board of trustees will be holding a regular meeting in the Orono High School Cafeteria Tuesday Feb. 11 starting at 6 p.m. That meeting will be followed by a community conversation on water quality starting at approximately 7 p.m. That discussion comes about primarily because of levels of trihalomethanes in the water supply, which while within acceptable limits during testing are high enough that they have concerned some residents, particularly in Veazie.
