PARIS — University College at South Paris will hold a video-conference information session designed to highlight the degree and certificate programs of the University of Maine at Machias from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13.

Faculty and staff of UMM will present an overview of their online baccalaureate programs in psychology and community studies, college studies and the special education teaching certification.

Presenters will discuss program curriculum, admission requirements and career opportunities. Faculty and staff members also will talk to participants about full- and part-time study options, available concentrations and unique, experiential learning and internship opportunities. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.

University College at South Paris supports students enrolled in programs of the University of Maine at Machias and at all other UMS universities with a number of services, including financial aid and admission assistance, placement testing, tutoring, advising and more. Students without access to high speed Internet connections may use the center’s well-equipped computer lab for online class participation and research.
