The annual Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by the River Valley Chamber and the Mexico Fire Department, will take place on Saturday, April 19, throughout the towns of Byron, Canton, Carthage, Dixfield, Hanover, Mexico, Peru, Roxbury and Rumford.

Children ages seven to 12 may participate in this event. Clues for the hidden eggs will be broadcast on local radio station WOXO 100.7FM starting at 6 a.m. and concluding at 9 a.m. When an egg is found, you will have until noon to bring it to the Mexico Fire Department and receive your Easter basket.

Children six years of age and younger will have their Easter Egg Hunt at the Mexico Fire Station starting at 9 a.m.

One egg per child please so that others may participate in this wonderful event also.

If you would like to sponsor an egg for $10 and put a smile on a child’s face, call the Chamber office at 207-364-3241, drop your sponsorship of $10 per egg off in the Chamber mailbox at the Information Center at 10 Bridge St. in Rumford, or drop it in the mail to River Valley Chamber Easter Egg Hunt, 10 Bridge St., Rumford, ME 04276.
