JAY — Police are investigating vandalism to five mailboxes on Franklin Road/Route 133 and Lomie Rivers Road either late Saturday or early Sunday.
Damage is estimated at more than $200, Jay police Detective Richard Caton IV said Monday.
Most of the mailboxes were ripped off their post, he said, and it looked like they were struck by an object. Residents reported the damage.
Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious is asked to call police at 897-6766.
