AUBURN — The Auburn Public Library’s Teen Life Skills Series will feature two special programs focused on job searching during March.

On Thursday, March 6, the question of the day will be “Are You Hiring?” Lisa Hartnett of the Career Center will be at the APL to talk with teens about how to look and apply for a job.

Whether looking for a first, part-time job or nearing the end of high school and seeking full-time employment, the information she provides will be essential toward success.

Your application just got you an interview! How should you dress? What questions will they ask? On Thursday, March 20, Hartnett will be back to share tips and advice on the interview process and how teens can interview for the job with confidence.

Both of the programs will take place from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Androscoggin Community Room and are for teens, ages 12 to 18.

In addition to the two programs, the third annual Teen Opportunities Fair, co-sponsored by the Auburn and Lewiston public libraries, will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at the Lewiston Public Library. Look for additional information about the fair in a separate article.
