AUBURN — A nine-day Wesleyan Tour of Great Britain is being sponsored through the United Methodist Church of Auburn in conjunction with Educational Opportunities.
The tour, open to all, is planned for November. For more information, contact the church office at 782-3972.
Those who knit or crochet, or would like to learn, are invited to join the Prayer Shawl Ministry of the United Methodist Church. The group provides shawls locally for those in need.
The next meeting will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 7, at Schooner Estates. For more information, call the church office at 782-3972.
The church is asking for donations for two of its current projects.. The following items are needed on a weekly basis for the High Street Food Pantry Project: peanut butter, toilet paper and pasta sauce.
The Washburn School Project is collecting boys’ and girls’ underwear and socks sizes 5-6 through 14-16.
Those wishing may help by dropping off any of the items at the church, 439 Park Ave., or making a financial contribution. Call the church office at 782-3972 for additional information.
