WATERFORD — Selectman Randy Lessard and SAD 17 Director Barry Patrie each received 28 votes to be re-elected Friday. Both were unopposed.

Polls were open from 1 to 6 p.m. with the majority of voters showing up by 4 p.m., Deputy Clerk Betty Becker said.

“There are no lines,” she quipped.

The annual town meeting begins at 9 a.m. at the Municipal Building on Valley Road. There are 67 articles on the warrant. Voters will be asked to support a $1.3 million municipal budget, which is $103,700 more than last year.
