LEWISTON — Funeral services honoring the life of Gayle Vail were held Saturday morning at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral with the Rev. Kathleen O’Wril presiding. During the service, Gayle’s niece, Kerry Robichaud, shared words of remembrance as well as Gayle’s cousin, Ellen Dorr. The Rev. O’Wril asked Gayle’s two great grandnieces, Ella and Olivia, as well as great-grandnephew, Nathan, in passing out the story to all in attendance of the transformation of a plain water bug to a beautiful dragonfly signifying to the children that’s God’s way in nature of sharing with us that their greataunt’s life hasn’t ended, but has moved on in a new pain free and beautiful life with God. Burial will be held later in the spring at Head of Tides Cemetery in Newry. Arrangements by Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home, Lewiston
