1923 – 2014
JAY — Lillian Francis (Crosby) Cote, 90, of Livermore Falls, passed away on Thursday morning, Feb. 27, at her daughter’s home in Jay, with her loving family at her side.
Lillian was born on Sept. 16, 1923, in East Livermore, a daughter of Charles and Christine (Gilbert) Crosby. She was third of five siblings, and four half siblings.
On Nov. 2, 1941, Lillian married Wilfred Cote and they began their family and she worked as a loving homemaker.
She is survived by nine children, Christine Judd and her husband, Lawrence, of Livermore, Dorothy Morgan and her husband, Kenny, of Chesterville, Harvey Cote and his partner, Sandy Richard, of Green, Theresa Parlin and her partner, Dave Turcotte, of Livermore Falls, Ivan Cote and his wife, Betty, of Bath, Merita Koehling and her husband, Punk, of Phippsburg, Richard Cote and his wife, Julia, of Livermore Falls, Laurie Gagnepain and her husband, Stephen, of Jay, and Juanita Maney and her partner, Lenny Brown, of Phippsburg; 23 grandchildren; many great- and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred, on Aug. 6, 2005; siblings, Arlene (Crosby) Grover, Charles Crosby Jr., Edmund Crosby, Joicey (Crosby) Gosselin and Vernon Crosby. Half-siblings, Lawrence Parlin, Gilbert Maxim, Thelma Horne and George Crosby.
