AUBURN — A fire Tuesday night caused an estimated $50,000 damage to three vehicles and a garage at 214 Poland Road.
According to Battalion Chief Scott Hunter, firefighters responding to the 9:09 p.m. call found heavy smoke coming from the two-story garage belonging to Jean Bolduc. He said 14 firefighters from Auburn and seven from Lewiston knocked down the flames by 9:30 p.m.
There was extensive damage to the three vehicles in the garage and the first floor. The second floor partially collapsed, she said.
