1965 – 2014

LEWISTON — Charles Malcolm McIntosh III, 48, of Auburn, passed away in Lewiston on Thursday, March 6.

He was born in Portland on March 15, 1965, the son of Charles Malcolm and Linnie Myrtle Bowerman McIntosh, and attended South Portland schools, graduating from South Portland High School in the Class of 1983.

Charles served in the U.S. Army as an armor crewman from 1983 to 1987. He then worked for Verizon Wireless as a field engineer-cells.

His hobbies included photography, traveling, cooking and electronics.

Charles is survived by his sister, Rose Caron and her husband, Mark, of Topsham; nephews, Mike Alexander, Reno Caron and Kaiden Beasley; and many cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Russell Park Manor in Lewiston for the special care given to Charlie.
