FARMINGTON — Joan Hargreaves passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 1.
Born Oct. 15, 1940, the daughter of Francis Folsom and Alma Folsom (Pillsbury), Joan greatly enjoyed time with her family and was passionate about her gardens. She took pride in the family excavation business, and was often at work sites along with her husband and sons. She was known for having an open home and welcomed many into it through the years.
Joan is survived by her sons, Russell Hargreaves and significant other, Liz Ellsworth, of Farmington, Ronald “Twink” Hargreaves and wife, RaeAnn, of Farmington and Harold Hargreaves and wife, Pam, of Farmington; her brothers, Roger Folsom of Farmington and James Folsom of Florida; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many extended family.
Joan was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Rolly Hargreaves; her son, Randy Hargreaves; and her brothers, Norman Folsom and Duane Folsom.
