LISBON — A Richmond man was injured and charged in a single-vehicle crash in Lisbon Falls on Saturday afternoon, police said.

Lowell Saindon, 28, complained of leg pain and was taken to Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick by Lisbon Emergency.

Saindon was driving south on Main Street when his vehicle veered off the right shoulder, where it struck and snapped a utility pole, officer Jeff Picard said.

He said Saindon was charged with operating after suspension and violation of bail conditions. His 2001 Jeep Cherokee was a total loss in the 2:35 p.m. crash. Traffic was rerouted while a crew from Central Maine Power replaced the pole. The cost to replace it was estimated at $1,000.
