“Evening with Denny Breau” in Turner as part of the Cabin Fever concert series followed by “Desserts with Denny” downstairs.

TURNER —

Donations for these concerts, put on by the Universalist Church, are used to support the aspiring musicians in Turner music programs who would otherwise not have a chance to play an instrument.

Breau’s dazzlingly clear style allows him to do amazing things with a six-string guitar. He mixes genres with ease. He greets concertgoers and shakes hands following his performances, and will have dessert with concert goers.

Breau started playing guitar when he was nine years old and was performing professionally by his early teens. During more than 30 years as a full-time musician, he has performed with many well-known artists and picked alongside outstanding guitarists including Bryan Sutton, Harvey Reid, J.P. Cormier, Pat Donohue, Dan Carry and Steve Kaufman. Breau was inducted into the Maine Country Music Hall of Fame in 2004, the youngest inductee in the history of the organization.
