The Mid Maine Vettes Corvette Club held its annual Christmas Party at Rolandeau’s Restaurant in Auburn in December. During the party, a short meeting was held to discuss upcoming events and to nominate and elect club officers for 2014. Elected were Raymond Faucher, president; Chuck Mailhot, vice president; Melody Fox, secretary; Richard Therrien, treasurer; and Brent Fox, social director.
An award was also presented to Ron and Bernice Santomango to honor their many years of service to the club.
A Saturday evening dinner at a local restaurant was chosen as the club’s winter activity to be held in March and several cruise rides were planned for next summer.
Winners of gift certificates at the party were Bob and Elaine Poirier, Chuck and Debbie Mailhot, Irma McGuinness, Rod and Connie Kell, Ray and Gemma Blier and Bob Dulac.
