1930 – 2014

AUBURN — Theresa Bergeron, 83, of Auburn, passed away Saturday, March 15, at Clover Health Care.

She was born in Lewiston on Dec. 14, 1930, daughter of Albert and Maine (Bergeron) St. Marie. She graduated from Lewiston High School in 1949. She met the love of her life, Fern Bergeron, in 1950 and they were married on March 31, 1951.

Terry was a housewife most of her life and delighted in keeping up with family and friends on Facebook. She loved finding treasures on her yard-sale quests. She was an avid Yahtzee and Scrabble player and enjoyed crossword puzzles. Nothing was more important to her than family gatherings and Friday-night “happy hours.” She loved her kids, grandkids, family and friends and everyone loved “Gram.”

She is survived by her son, Dan Bergeron and his wife, Cathy; daughters, Denise Fraser and her husband, Dick, and Diane Bennett; eight grandchildren, Dan Wyman and his wife, Lori, Joe Bergeron, Matt Bennett and his fiancé Rob Slaugenhoup, Sarah Fraser and her partner, Chris Nelson, Kate Fraser and her partner, Kyle Lewis, Emily Fraser, Kevin Bennett and his wife, Allison, Rob Bennett and his wife, Angela; great-grandchildren, Carrie-Anne Davis and her husband, Donnie, Dani Wyman, Chelsey Edmonds and Lily Bennett; two great-great-grandchildren, Kamree and Kooper Davis; sisters, Annette Gosselin, Juliette Roberge, Pauline Dugal, Jeanine St. Marie and Lorraine Cote; brothers, Dick and Roland Bergeron; also several nieces, nephews and friends.

She is predeceased by her husband, Fern Bergeron; son-in-law, Rob Bennett; brothers, Roland and Norm St. Marie, Gerry Bergeron; and sister, Germaine Roberge.

Theresa’s family would like to thank the amazing nurses and staff at Clover Health Care and Androscoggin Hospice.
