1944 – 2014

BATH — Daniel George Beauchesne, of Rumford, passed away in Bath on Thursday, March 13, at 10:39 p.m., at the age of 69. Daniel was predeceased by both his parents, Ferdinand and Alice Beauchesne; brothers, Robert and Richard Beauchesne; and great-grandson, Dante.

Dan is lovingly remembered by his four children and nine grandchildren: His son, Daniel and wife, Misun, of Rumford, and his oldest grandchild, Crystinia Tiatano and grandson, Dylan Beauchesne; Dan’s oldest daughter, Brandi Comeau and her husband, Tracy, and two children, Benjamin and Isabella, all of Lewiston; Travis and Cristin Beauchesne live in Utah, with their three children, Alexis, Caleb and Gabriella; and his youngest daughter, Sherri Fredericks, lives in Bath her with her husband, Brad Fredericks, as well as Aaron Jamison and youngest son, Kyle. He also is survived by his sisters, Lydia Mason, Patty Lavorgna, Mary Gallant and Fern Gallant; and brother, Tom Beauchesne.

Daniel was born in Rumford in 1944. He graduated from Stephens High School in 1964, and served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. He worked at Bath Iron Works for many years as a shipfitter.

Dan enjoyed camping with his grandchildren, fishing and riding both his snowmobile and four-wheeler, as well as playing cribbage. His children are waiting to find out why is an orange, orange?!
