SUN VALLEY, Calif. — Francis Eugene “Gene” Crosby of Sun Valley, Calif., passed away on Sunday, Feb. 23.
Gene was born in Mexico on Oct. 22, 1923, to Gilbert Joseph Crosby and Iva Leora Crosby (Phinney). Gene and his wife, Lorena Stella Crosby (Richards), moved to California in 1953, where he worked for Benedix as an electrician for 38 years. They vacationed in Coos Bay, Ore., where they maintained a second home.
Gene is survived by his wife, Lorena; son, Larry and his wife, Lynn; daughter, Sharon and her husband, Gary; sister, Joyce Saisi (Crosby); grandchildren, Shilo Anderson, Jeremy Anderson and his wife, Abigail Anderson, and Ben Crosby; a sister-in-law and her husband, Ann and John Kezal; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Gene was predeceased by his parents and brothers, Howard, Thomas, Gilbert “Bucky” and Johnny.
