LISBON — A cab driver was threatened and robbed of a small amount of cash by a passenger picked up in Auburn on Thursday night, according to Lisbon police.

The cab driver reported the incident at 11:35 p.m. He said he picked up a white male about 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches, and weighing between 200 and 210 pounds, on Drummond Street at about 11:15 p.m.

The driver told police that in the vicinity of Fillion Street in Lisbon, the man demanded money and put a metal object to the driver’s throat.

The man took a small amount of cash, left the cab and walked toward Lisbon Street. The driver sustained a slight injury on his neck, according to Lisbon police Detective Bernie McAllister.

The thief had a shaved head and was wearing a lightweight brown jacket. Anyone who has possible information is asked to call the Lisbon Police Department at 353-2500.
