Bruce Dyke, caretaker of the Wilson Lake Ice Out Contest, reminds residents that even though it’s spring and it seems like Old Man Winter doesn’t want to let go, the ice will eventually go out of Wilson Lake again. He said the ice out contest will run until April 1. Submit a guess by mail to Bruce Dyke, PO Box 605, Wilton, ME 04294 or call him at 645-2131. The winner with the closest guess wins $100.
