Police chief to address Grangers

AUBURN — Danville Junction Grange will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 27, when Auburn Police Chief Phillip Crowell will speak about “Safety on the Road.”

Refreshments will be served at the close of the meeting.

Members are reminded to bring filled cookies for the baking contest. They should be in the hall by 6:45 to allow time for judging.

All members and guests are welcome.

AudioBody coming to Auburn school

AUBURN —  As the grand finale for Auburn Middle School’s CyberDay, Audiobody will perform at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 28, in the AMS gym.

AudioBody features an explosive mix of sibling rivalry, technological mishaps, relentless comedy, full-body contortion, juggling, LED light shows and up-beat music. This is a show for the entire family.

Tickets may be ordered in advance at http://bit.ly/amsaudiobody for $5.50 for students and $7.50 for adults. Tickets at the door will be $7 and $9. Children 5 and under are free.

Marine Corps League to meet

LEWISTON — The Marine Corps League, Central Maine Detachment, will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 27, at the Holy Cross Senior Hall, 16 St. Croix St., left side door.

FMF corpsman are welcome and may join.

Chili, chowder contest at lodge

NEW GLOUCESTER — Junior Warden’s Chili and Chowder Contest will take place from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at the Cumberland Lodge Masonic Hall, 11 Bald Hill Road.

The public is welcome. Cost is $10 for all you can eat. Children under 6 eat free. Proceeds will benefit the Scottish Rite Children’s Dyslexia Center of Portland.

TURNER —  A spaghetti supper will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at Boofy Quimby Memorial Center, 96 Howes Corner Road.

All of the proceeds will be donated to the Turner Food Pantry. Nonperishable food items and cash donations will be accepted. There will be 50/50 and raffles.

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners at the Lewiston Memorial Armory on March 20 were: first, Moe Fournier and Stan Tetenman; second, Aaron Burke; third, Ed Hinkley and Gene Brown; fourth, Dolly Jones and Edith Chambers; fifth, Anita Maheux and Steve Agurkis.
