Seniors to elect board members
PERU — Rumford Senior Citizens of Peru will have a membership meeting at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 27. A board meeting will be held at 10. Voting for board members will be held.

PERU — Widows or Widowers Sharing will meet at 2 p.m. Friday, March 28, at the Rumford Senior Center. Donna Bucker will speak on nutrition.

Church sponsoring coffee house
DIXFIELD — The Dixfield Congregational Church will hold a Coffee House on Friday, March 28, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the church annex on High Street.
Local music artists, Jamie Virgin and Gary Petrie, will provide the entertainment for the evening. The proceeds will go to the missions fuel account. Because of the minimum gallons the oil companies will deliver at one household, it hasn’t taken too many requests to deplete the missions account.
The cost at the door will be $5. Desserts and beverages will be available for sale throughout the night.
Concert to benefit Camp Sunshine
RUMFORD — A concert featuring folk songs and acoustic music performed by Andy St. Pierre and Peter Koch will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at Rumford Falls Auditorium, second floor of Town Municipal Building.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. The auditorium is handicapped accessible.
Advance tickets can be purchased for $8 for adults and $5 for children under 12 at Kreckel Law Offices, Congress Street. Cost at the door will be $10 for adults and $7 for children.
All proceeds will sponsor children with life-threatening illnesses and their families at Camp Sunshine in Casco. The concert is hosted by the Rumford Performing Arts Committee.
Snowshoe club is hosting dance
RUMFORD — A dance with music by the Stereo Type Band will take place from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at the Snowshoe Club, 227 Waldo St.
Members and guests are welcome to the free event.
Lenten retreat at Rumford church
RUMFORD — A Lenten retreat will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at Holy Savior Church Hall. The topic will be “Turning Our Heads to the Lord.”
A light lunch will be served, and a $ 5 donation is requested.
