The Roadside Theater project, in the planning stages for over a year, will bring the theater company to the Lewiston-Auburn area for two weeks of workshops, discussion groups and performances. The program will run between April 3 and April 14. The project focuses on oral history, music and stories, collecting them, preserving them and exploring ways to communicate them. Roadside Theater members will meet daily with two core groups at Webster School, Auburn, and one at the Lewiston Junior High School. Participants will be asked to share family and community stories, and then they will be taught to find and compile other stories.
