LEWISTON — A Funeral Mass honoring the life of Leose P. Ducharme was celebrated on Saturday, March 29, at the Basilica of Saints Peter & Paul, following prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home. The Rev. Aaron Damboise celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. At the beginning of the Mass, the Burial Pall was placed on Leose’s casket by her great granddaughters, Amber Ouellette and Amanda Pilot, which signified her birth into new life. The First Reading was read by her’s grandson, Rick Ducharme and the Prayer of the Faithful was read by her granddaughter, Tina Ducharme. The Offertory was brought to the altar by her son, Roger Ducharme and her daughter-in-law, Sandy Ducharme. The pallbearers were Amanda Pilot, Amber Ouellette, Kyle Pilot, Lisa Ouellette, Bruce Ducharme and Ricky Ducharme. Arrangements by the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home in Lewiston.
