Class to focus on writing autobiography

BRIDGTON — A program, “How to Write Your Autobiography,” will be instructed by Margo Truscott from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesdays, April 9, 16, 23, 30 and May 7 and 14, at the Bridgton Community Center.

The project is designed to help participants get started writing their life story. The syllabus is designed to be interesting and fun.

After a seven-year absence, Truscott has returned to her home state and is residing in Bridgton. She is a graduate of Bridgewater State University, studying English and secondary education.

Class size is limited to 10 and the fee is $60. To register, call 647-3116.

OXFORD — The Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club met March 28 in the Recreation Building, King Street, where a quarterly club championship 5 &1/2 table Howell movement was played.

Finishing first in flight A were Rosemarie Goodwin, Lewiston, and Luke Merry, Gray; second, Hazel Glazier, Norway, and Marta Clements, Woodstock, who also were first in flight B; third, Mike Newsom, Norway, and Dick Allen, New Gloucester, who also were second in flight B; fourth, Sharron Hinckley, Augusta, and Dottie Kelleher, Westbrook.

Third in flight B were Cindy and Bob Kirchherr, South Paris, who also were first in flight C; fourth, Hank Sakrison, Poland, and Denny Raymond, Waterford, who also were second in flight C; third in flight C, Milt McKeen Jr., Bridgton, and Jim Krainin, Naples.
