DURHAM — There are no official contests in Friday’s municipal election, with three positions needing to be filled by write-in votes.
Selectmen Barry Baldwin and Farah Hall are seeking re-election for three-year terms.
Former Selectman Mark Blake is also running unopposed for a two-year seat formerly held by Selectman Deborah Larrabee.
Budget Committee Chairman Milt Simon is running unopposed for a three-year term, while two other three-year openings on the committee will be filled by write-in votes. A one-year opening on the committee also will be filled by a write-in ballot.
Brian Pike is running for a three-year term on the RSU 5 Board of Directors. He also is unopposed.
Voters will convene at 7:45 a.m. Friday at Durham Community School to elect a moderator. The meeting will adjourn to the polls at the same location for the municipal election, which will go from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The town meeting will reconvene at 9 a.m. Saturday at the school to act on articles 3 through 37.
