LIVERMORE FALLS  — Spruce Mountain Adult Education will offer a College Transitions class this month.

Students will improve Accuplacer scores, earn a credit for Central Maine Community College, write without stress, improve math abilities and create a portfolio exhibiting their skills.

In addition, they will complete the Free Application for Student Aid, explore career options, tour local community colleges and universities and research scholarship opportunities.

Representatives from the Community College and the University of Maine System will be available to answer questions. One college credit may be earned when students meet the standards of the class.

The class is offered free and start date will depend on responses. Adult ed also extends a special invitation to veterans who are preparing to return to college.
