There will be a meeting to discuss the MRC’s proposed landfill for Greenbush or Argyle. This will take place from noon to 2 p.m. this Sunday, April 13 at Happy Acres Hall on Rte. 16 (Bennoch Rd.) in Alton.
It was only recently that residents learned that they may have a new landfill and high tech sorting facility in their neighborhoods. The purpose of the meeting is to get together and share information, and discuss possible options for the effected citizens. There will be an open
microphone and priority will be given to Greenbush and Argyle residents.
For more information, people can call Paul Schroeder at 907-0906 or Ed Spencer at 827-8359. Elected officials are cordially invited and will have a chance to speak if they wish.
