SIDNEY (AP) — Maine authorities say a father and son are facing sex trafficking charges for allegedly running a prostitution operation out of their Sidney home.
Forty-six-year old Frederick Horne Sr. and 19-year-old Frederick Horne Jr. were both issued a summons to court to face a charge of sex trafficking following a raid on the home Thursday.
Authorities say at least six women were at the home, site of the Adam & Eve Escort Service, allegedly run by the Hornes. None of the women was arrested.
Prosecutors say they advertised online and in the local newspaper.
The elder Horne told the Morning Sentinel (http://bit.ly/1sL0MiQ ) that he simply rented out rooms to the women.
In an unrelated case, an Augusta woman was charged with sex trafficking after a raid Thursday on a Litchfield home.
