LEWISTON — The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce will host a seminar titled Speak with Confidence, Comfort and Conviction!

It will be held from 8:30 to 11:30a.m. Thursday, April 24, at the chamber, 415 Lisbon St. Lee Ann Szelog of Simply Put, LLC, a professional speaker and award-winning author, will be the presenter.

The workshop will show participants how planning and practice can replace the stress of public speaking with success. Attendees can expect to learn how to: improve overall professionalism by polishing presentation skills; engage, influence, persuade and inspire audiences; enhance words, tone and body language to communicate more powerfully and genuinely; develop techniques and learn preparation steps to ensure success; and replace fear of public speaking with confidence.
