Coaches: Kris Wright (fifth year) and Rick Kramer (10th year)

Last year’s results: Sixth in WMC Division I, 10th in Class B

Returning letter-winners: Juniors — Amanda Dube (100, 200), Marissa Zink (pole vault), Hope Kohtala (high jump), Beka Stone (shot put); Sophomore — Aimee Horne (hurdles).

Key loss: Emma Turton (sprints).

Promising newcomers: Freshmen — Emma Gaul (1,600), Elisha Pratt (100 hurdles).

Season outlook: Turton, who was a top challenger to Lake Region’s Kate Hall the past two seasons, will be missed. But Kohtala won the Class B high jump title two years ago as a freshman, and the Knights have other solid veteran leaders, as well. The coaches say they are focused on improving physical capabilities, developing individual skills, and fostering a fun and energetic environment for the team.
