RUMFORD — A dessert bake-off will be held at the Lumberjack Fest on Saturday, May 10.

Bakers are needed to serve their favorite desserts to the crowds at the festival.

Dessert eaters are also wanted to sample and judge desserts in the categories of their choice.

Bakers may enter one dessert in each of four main categories: cakes, pies, cookies/squares and sweets/candy.

Winners receive plaques and cash prizes. There is a $5 entry fee per dessert, which covers cash prizes and supplies for the bake-off.

Dessert eaters will pay $5 to eat and judge each category. Funds go to after-school programs and/or American Cancer Society.
