Promising newcomers: Juniors — Charlotte Thibodeau, Harley High, Danielle Baxter; Sophomores — Sophie Swain, Lilly Kendall, Jennie Chen.

Season outlook: If enthusiasm and hard work were all it took to win the state championship, the Mt. Blue girls would be well on their way. Many newcomers are picking up the sport quickly. Mt. Blue is situated in a snow country so clearing the courts to play tennis, as opposed to practicing in a gym, has been a challenge for the Cougars. Mt. Blue has five new courts were still snowbound, but the Cougars hope to be using them soon. The preseason goal of the team is to make the playoffs and win the sportsmanship award.
