Coach: Walter Perry (7th year)
Last year’s record: First season in conference
Returning players: Seniors — Alyssa deSilva, Carly Sauro, Abigail Bangs; Sophomore — Angela Sanders.
Key losses: Nikki Surette, Michaela Freschette, Abi Egan, Morgan Wilson, Rebecca Boughter.
Promising newcomers: Seniors — Zihan Guo, Chiara Vespasiano; Junior — Kelsey MacMillian; Sophomore — McKayla Ivey.
Season outlook: This is the Vikings’ first year in the KVAC. Oxford Hills goes into this season free of expectations of outcomes. Some of the teams will be tougher than the Vikings have seen in previous years, so it will be interesting where they rank at the end of the season. The Vikings are excited to finally have a varsity team after seven years of junior varsity.
