Promising newcomer: Freshman — Steven Gilbert (M).
Season outlook: The Raiders will need a lot of role players from last year’s team to step into the spotlight this year after graduating all three starting attack and defense, as well as their top faceoff man. That said, the playoffs are certainly still an expectation for this team given the depth the Raiders developed last season. Having won a state football title in the fall helped ignite many of the players who will be on the team this season and may add a spark to this spring’s effort.
