LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Claude F. Beaucage was celebrated by the Rev. Aaron Damboise on Wednesday, April 16, at Holy Family Church of the Prince of Peace Parish.
At the beginning of Mass, Claude’s two children, Caroline and Craig, draped a white burial pall over their father’s casket, representing his Baptism into a new spiritual life with God. Claude’s grandchildren, Garrett and Breah Beaucage, Shelby Carver and Brendon Croteau, brought the offertory gifts to the altar before Communion.
Bearers were Mike Lapointe, Bob Levesque, Brian Beaucage, Brendon Croteau, Travis Dow and Jim Quimby. Following Mass, all in attendance were invited to a reception of fellowship at Marco’s Restaurant in Lewiston. Graveside committal prayers with military honors will be held later in the spring at Mount Auburn Cemetery. Arrangements by Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home, Lewiston.
